A unified generation, leading the future of gospel music.
We envision a collective of college students who are connected across campuses, developed through training, and equipped for success in the broader gospel music ecosystem.
To provide skill development for success and positioning for college students pursuing gospel music careers (ministry and business).
The Gospel Industry Coalition College Division unites and empowers college students in gospel music and ministry by providing direct access to the industry, mentorship, career development, and a national community that connects campus choir members and leaders to the gospel industry.
You are not spectators of the gospel industry. You are builders of it.
One foundation. Five commitments.
Our work rests on a single foundational value — the source from which everything else flows — and is expressed through five core commitments that shape how we lead, build, and serve.
Integrity & Devotion
Before we are artists, leaders, or professionals, we are devoted to God and consecrated for His purpose. We pursue gospel music as a sacred assignment — anchored in character, conviction, and the belief that what we sing, we live. Integrity is our discipline; devotion is our source. Every other value rests on this foundation.
Unity & Collaborative Impact
We advance the GIC vision of a unified gospel music industry and community when we work together. We foster collaboration across campuses, denominations, regions, and traditions, bringing students into one unified body — speaking, singing, and serving with one voice.
Excellence & Preparation
Calling deserves preparation. We prepare students not just to participate, but to lead. Through training, exposure, and accountability, we cultivate excellence in artistry, leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional execution — ensuring students are competitive and credible in today's industry landscape.
Access & Opportunity
We are intentional about creating pathways that expand access to the gospel music industry. By connecting students with executives, creators, educators, and innovators, we ensure equitable opportunities for visibility, advancement, and career development across all sectors.
Heritage, Culture & Authenticity
We honor the rich cultural and spiritual origins of gospel music. While we celebrate and respect authenticity, we innovate responsibly — ensuring that the gospel genre continues to evolve without losing its identity.
Leadership & Stewardship
We develop leaders who understand that influence, accountability, and responsibility are inextricably linked. The calling to serve — whether in the church, in the broader community, or in the gospel music industry — is a privilege. We develop leaders who embrace stewardship of musical gifts, platforms, and influence with humility and purpose.
